Sakoyana is an experimental-jazz-freak-funk band band from Sonoma County, California. Influenced by sounds and creations of all kinds. Primarily the music is rooted in blues, jazz, and funk, but is also influenced by western classical music, hip hop, Indian classical music, gardening, meditation, and more. The music balances tight compositional structures with improvisation and joyful noise.
